utbrownHare–andhehoppedsohighthathisearstouchedthebranchesabove.（“我跳的有多高我就有多爱你。”大栗色兔子也笑着跳上跳下。他跳的那么高，耳朵都碰到树枝了。）
That’sgoodhopping,thoughtLittleNutbrownHare.IwishIcouldhoplikethat.（这真是跳的太棒了，我希望我也能跳的那么高，小兔子想。）
“Iloveyouallthewaydownthelaneasfarastheriver.”criedLittleNutbrownHare.（“我爱你从这条小路到那条小河那么远！”小栗色兔子喊到）
“Iloveyouacrosstheriverandoverthehills.”saidBigNutbrownHare.（我对你的爱远到跨过小河，再翻过山丘。”大栗色兔子说。）
That’sveryfar,thoughtLittleNutbrownHare.（这可真远啊，小栗色兔子想。）
Hewasalmosttoosleepytothinkanymore.（他太困啦，想不出更多的东西来啦。）
Thenhelookedbeyondthethornbushed,outintothebigdarknight.（然后他望着灌木丛那边的漆黑的夜空。）
Nothingcouldbefurtherthanthesky.（没有什么能比天空更远了。）
“IloveyourightuptotheMOON.”Hesaid,andclosedhiseyes.（“我爱你能从这里一直到月亮上去。”他说到，并且闭上了他的眼睛。）
“Oh,that’sfar.”saidBigNutbrownHare.“Thatisvery,veryfar.”（“噢，这很远，”大兔子说，“非常非常的远。”
BigNutbrownHaresettledLittleNutbrownHareintohisbedofleaves.（大兔子把小兔子放在用树叶铺成的床上。）
Heleanedoverandkissedhimgoodnight.（他低下头亲了亲小兔子并对他说晚安。）
Thenhelaydownclosebyandwhisperedwitha□□ile,"Iloveyourightuptothemoon...andback."（然后他躺下来微笑着轻声说：“我爱你一直从这里到月亮上，再从月亮上，回到这里来。”）”
托尼讲完了这个故事，我们都沉默着。半响，我说到：“It'sareallywarmstory,isn'tit”（这真的是一个温暖的故事，对吧？）
“GuesshowmuchIloveyou？”
“Oh,Idon’tthinkIcouldguessthat.”

“嗯？”
